A largely clear start, but a cool/cold one across the forecast area, with temperatures generally below 5°C.. Sunny spells throughout the day, but despite the sunshine, temperatures rising only slowly from the cool start to peak at 13°C or 14°C by late afternoon, which is 5°C or 6°C degrees below the late September average. (The average for the 24th September from my own data going back to 2006, is 18.6°C)

WIND:-

Generally light, but with gust potential to 15mph in places and mainly from the WNW, veering NW/NNW through the day

EVENING & OVERNIGHT:-

Sunny spells continues to be the theme into/through the early evening. Clear spells through the evening/early hours, again allowing temperatures to fall away to 4°C or 5°C. Perhaps a few local mist patches by/soon after dawn

WIND:-

Generally light throughout the period and what breeze there is will be mainly from the WNW/NW, backing WNW/W through the the period, to end at WSW by/soon after dawn

After another cool/cold start and perhaps some local mist patches, another day of sunny spells. Temperatures peaking at 15°C or 16°C

Light through the morning and at first into the afternoon, before likely increasing mid/;ate afternoon and generally from the SSW
